Ronald "Flip" Murray (born July 29, 1979 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is a professional basketball player in the NBA currently signed with the Detroit Pistons starting in the 2006-07 NBA season.
He was drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks in the second round of the 2002 NBA Draft after playing collegiately at Shaw University. He has played for the Bucks, the Seattle SuperSonics, and the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was traded to the Cavaliers in February 2006 for Mike Wilks. He was originally meant to replace Larry Hughes until his recovery from a broken finger. His contract expired after the 2006 season and he was signed by the Detroit Pistons for 3.6 million dollars over 2 years. He was signed in an effort by the Pistons to increase their bench depth.
